What they say...

I did my 4 month internship at a Football Club. There I worked as an assistant coach to several head coaches of varying youth teams and ages. The coaches and players at the club were really kind and open-hearted and working with all the teams was a special experience. As a teacher trainee, this served as a great opportunity to further improve my pedagogics skills. If you enjoy playing or coaching football and you are looking to do an internship that revolves around educating and working with kids, as you might be a teacher trainee yourself, I can only recommend this internship. I had a great time and will certainly return to Malta one day.

My name is Leon. I did an internship for 22 weeks. I worked in the Customer Relationship Management of a big company. That means I helped customers with their problems and answered their questions. I also managed some campaigns and had the possibility to have a look behind the marketing strategies. My supervisor and the colleagues I dealt with were really friendly. They answered all my questions and demonstrated their tasks. Most I enjoy from my internship is the combination of the great weather in Malta and the atmosphere at work. I can definitely recommend this experience, because to go abroad and living and working in another country is a great opportunity to broad your mind. You have to deal with so many different people and you will find friends from all around the world. It’s a magnificent experience

Internships Worldwide organized my internship with the local football club in the field of youth coaching. During these two months, I was able to work as an assistant coach in almost every segment of the academies’ technical team (Under 6 – Under 15). Specifically, I led parts of the training sessions and helped the kids by explaining and demonstrating exercises and tactical issues. Nonetheless, I also had the chance to participate in one or another match at the end of the session J!
The daily work and the communication were very friendly (almost matey) and I really felt like being a part of the whole club. I didn’t run into any problems but I’m sure that the coaches as well as the coordinators from Internships Worldwide would have been very eager to help me, if there had been any.
During my internship I enjoyed the everyday work with the kids, helping them to improve their football skills and in the optimal case: seeing them getting better and adapting the learned. (Simply put, from my point of view it’s a perfect fit: you can be outside in the sun, work with young people and do the sport which you love!).
At the end of my internship, I can say that I was able to increase my knowledge in working with young athletes of different age groups and to learn different coaching techniques. Due to the daily communication with native speakers I was able to improve my English as well.
I recommend this kind of internship to everyone, who wants to improve their work with children in an educational context and loves football.
Kind regards and enjoy Malta,

Hello, I'm Michele and since February 2022 till October 2022 I've been working at a company that sells and repairs electronics. Since the first day the company impressed me, it was amazing and it kept getting better. Every person that I've met was really kind and helpful, the tutor that I had was really patient and most importantly he assigned me the role of Laptop technician, so I wasn't just watching my colleagues working. My main duties were to repair and check laptops in the software and hardware part as well, sometimes I've been assigned to other departments to help or doing the inventory and I was really glad to help. The most beautiful part of this experience of course for me it was improving my knowledge about the tech word, that I love, and my English. In fact when I arrived I barely knew how to spell some sentences.
I recommend to do this kind of experience because you can really see the world and how it's beautiful to work in an environment that you like, for example this company has even the pool table and a free gym for the employee, so working was not stressfully at all. But of course you have to consider that it won't be easy, even if you love the job, the distance with your family sometimes it's hard to deal with and even with your comfort zone.
Also it can help to choose between continuing the studies or start working. So I recommend it but you have to be decided before leaving your country.

I did a seven-month internship. I worked at a leading company in entertainment and leisure and worked on video and graphics editing. I was part of team marketing. I helped them when they needed it and the same thing they've done to me. From my trainee, I liked being surrounded by people with different cultures from mine and, moreover, I found myself very well in the company because I felt welcomed. During these months, I improved my qualities in video editing and graphic editing. And also I improved my English and managed my anxiety a little bit more. I would recommend to everyone this experience because it helps you to improve your professional qualities and to be a better person.

The duration of the internship was 7 months. In recent months I have carried out administrative and accounting activities. I got along very well with my colleagues and also with the clients I met, I made many friends and met many new people. I especially liked the fact that I met many people from many different cultures and learned many new things about this internship.
Professionally I learned how a hotel works from an accounting and administrative point of view. I would also recommend it to other people so that you can meet new people and have more points of view on various topics not just your own.

For my end-of-study internship, I chose to go to Malta in order to improve my English and give an international dimension to my CV. I did an internship as a marketing officer in a coaching start-up for 10 weeks. I really liked my internship because my tutor was super nice, attentive to my questions and open to suggestions. I was able to carry out many missions such as content creation, benchmarking, competitive intelligence, statistics for campaign monitoring, taking photos and videos... Multiple and various tasks that have well allowed to understand marketing. The little extra of the internship: the office was located 7 minutes from the accommodation and I was able to test all the coffees of the machine for free I recommend to all students to live this experience because it is a real plus on the CV, you will significantly improve your English and above all you will meet lots of young people of different nationalities. Sharing this parenthesis with other young foreigners makes the experience even stronger. In addition, the weather is always good in Malta.
